Baku Higher Oil School has organized in-house sports competition to commemorate the National Independence Day, which is celebrated on October 18. The opening ceremony was attended by the BHOS management, teachers and students.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, the BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov noted that the Higher School students who always participate in various social and scientific projects and initiatives should also actively engage in sports activities. The Rector wished the undergraduates every success and added that he would watch the matches to encourage the participants.

 

There are 18 futsal teams including 8 teams of the Foundation students and 16 volleyball teams including six women teams. The first futsal match was controlled by referees from Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan.
