BHOS students make presentations on their internship at Baker Hughes
Students of Baku Higher Oil School who did on-the-job training at Baker Hughes, one of the world's largest oil field services companies, made presentations on the results of the summer internship. The main purpose of the event, which was attended by Director in Azerbaijan and Georgia at Baker Hughes Greig Russell Lindsay, Migration Manager Tural Akhmad, Dean of Engineering faculty at BHOS Zafar Gurbanov and the Higher School teachers, was to assess the undergraduates’ skills, experience and knowledge gained during the three-month on-the-job training.
Presentations were made by fifth-year Chemical Engineering student Yagub Yusubov who did internship at the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) department and by fifth-year Petroleum Engineering student Muhammed Aliyev who was working in the Completion Engineering department. Fourth-year Petroleum Engineering students Orkhan Khankishiyev and Elgun Yusifov reported about their participation in Baker Hughes projects and operations in the country together with the company experts and specialists.
In conclusion, the graduates answered questions asked by Baker Hughes Regional Director Greig Russell Lindsay and the BHOS teachers.
