Baku Higher Oil School, Maire Tecnimont Group, Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome sign trilateral Memorandum of Understanding

A trilateral Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), Maire Tecnimont Group (MT) and the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome (UCBM).

The purpose of the Memorandum is to promote international cooperation, intercultural integration and friendly relations between Baku Higher Oil School, Maire Tecnimont Group and the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome by supporting educational, scientific and cultural activities. The document envisages the organization of workshops and academic meetings, exchange of teaching aids and other information materials, exchange of students and faculty members, organization of summer schools and the implementation of special short-term academic programs. It is also planned to conduct joint research activities.

Welcoming the guests, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov thanked Gianni Bardazzi, Vice President of Maire Tecnimont Group, for establishing a Polymer Laboratory at Baku Higher Oil School. The rector stressed that today Azerbaijan and Italy are cooperating closely in various fields. “In this context, Baku Higher Oil School's successful cooperation with Maire Tecnimont Group is further expanding. We are pleased with that. "

Gianni Bardazzi said he was interested in further expanding cooperation with Baku Higher Oil School. Ellmar Gssimov and Gianni Bardazzi discussed issues related to alternative energy. The Vice President proposed to hold energy transition trainings at Baku Higher Oil School.

Maire Tecnimont is an Italian group consisting of a large number of engineering, technology and energy companies. It deals in 0plant engineering in oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals, in green chemistry and in technology supporting energy transition.
