BHOS student wins banking competition
Aytaj Abdullayeva, a fourth year student of the Process Automation Engineering Department of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), has won the “Optimization of bank products” competition organized by the IBA Tech Academy of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA).
11 teams consisting of students and graduates of IBA Tech Academy took part in the competition, which was held in the online format.
Under the terms of the competition, students had to build and deliver a “Machine Learning” model within 72 hours to determine whether the client subscribes to the marketing campaign based on the given instructions.
BHOS student Aytaj Abdullayeva won first place in the “Public Leaderboard” section and third place in the “Private Leaderboard” section of the competition.
The winners were awarded with gifts by the IBA Tech Academy.
Note that the IBA Tech Academy of the International Bank of Azerbaijan was established within the framework of the “Corporate Social Responsibility” project aimed to support the training of professional information technology professionals based on the needs of the labor market.
